Demian Maia and Jake Shields Agree to UFC Welterweight Showdown
(mmaweekly.com)Brazilian welterweight Demian Maia was supposed to be fighting on this weekend’s UFC 163: Aldo vs. Korean Zombie fight card in Rio de Janeiro, but had the fight yanked out from under him when Josh Koscheck withdrew due to injury.
Although Maia was pulled from the fight card altogether, he already has another opponent lined up.
Maia will next face Jake Shields, according to a report on UFC Tonight on Tuesday night.
Jorge Masvidal vs. Rustam Khabilov set for November UFC on FOX Sports 1 card

Masvidal (25-7 MMA, 2-0 UFC) has been booked for a lightweight fight against Rustam Khabilov (16-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC). FUEL TV's "UFC Tonight" correspondent Ariel Helwani reported the news as part of Tuesday night's episode.
The fight reportedly will take place in November on a yet-to-be-announced FOX Sports 1 card.
Francis Carmont meets Constantinos Philippou at UFC 165 in Toronto

Carmont (21-7 MMA, 5-0 UFC) will meet Constantinos Philippou (12-2 MMA, 5-1 UFC) at UFC 165 this fall. UFC officials on Tuesday announced the new matchup.
UFC 165 takes place Sept. 21 at Air Canada Centre in Toronto. The main card will air on pay-per-view following prelims that are expected to air on either FOX Sports 1 or FOX Sports 2 and Facebook.
Larceny charges against UFC fighter Reza Madadi approved, trial date set

This is related to his arrest on May 24th with another person in connection with the theft of 1,768,160 krona worth of merchandise from the upscale store Bottega Veneta.
