Jason 'Mayhem' Miller Talks TUF 14, Michael Bisping
We all know Mayhem has some experience in front of the cameras. As the host of Bully Beatdown on MTV for the past three seasons, Jason Miller has built up the necessary experience to make for a great choice as a coach on The Ultimate Fighter 14. And it didn't take long for him to get the trash-talk headed in the direction of opposing coach Michael Bisping (via HeavyMMA): "I feel great getting the TUF spot. It’s a little early to start the smack talk but I’m going to beat the bangers and mash out of Bisping after my team smashes his team. Now that Osama is dead, Bisping is the most hated man in America. Everybody hates that guy. I wonder what it’s like to actually be hated that much. You would have to put a terrorist attack together to be hated any more than he is."

Dana White Issues Public Statement Regarding Joe Rogan
UFC President Dana White has spoken up regarding the recent comments from announcer Joe Rogan. Through UFC.com, White issued the following statement: Joe Rogan recently made an offensive statement reflecting a personal opinion that does not represent the UFC in any way. I have addressed this directly with Joe. That is the entirety of White's statement. Rogan came under fire last week for a negative slur towards Yahoo! Sports reporter Maggie Hendricks posted on the Underground. He later issued a public apology to Hendricks. Over the weekend, Kevin Iole at Yahoo! Sports had this to say regarding the situation: Rogan's words were extraordinarily inappropriate, particularly as the very public mouthpiece of a billion-dollar company. The UFC needed to make a strong, public condemnation of Jackson's behavior and Rogan's choice of words, but has thus far failed to do so. Instead, late Thursday UFC spokeswoman Caren Bell privately called Hendricks and issued an apology. And while it is commendable that the UFC offered any kind of apology at all, it was made privately at a time when Hendricks was under heavy siege publicly because she stood up for what was right. A public apology would have meant more and carried far more weight.

Renzo Says a Gracie Should Fight in Rio, but It Won't Be Him
The UFC's August fight card in Rio de Janeiro is just about set, but one question remains: Will anyone from the first family of Brazilian jiu jitsu be a part of it? One member of that family, Renzo Gracie, says he feels strongly that a Gracie should be a part of the event. But Renzo says it won't be him, because he simply hasn't had time to prepare for an MMA fight with all the work it takes to run his own jiu jitsu school. "In reality, I can't," Gracie said on The MMA Hour. "I have no time now. I was planning to, I began the training, but my life is so crazy I couldn't dedicate 100 percent to that."

Chris Cope on TUF 13 Finale victory: "I busted my ass" to get better
It's just Chris Cope's luck that he would be required to fight Chuck O'Neil, one of the only guys to whom he took a liking on "The Ultimate Fighter 13." But Cope knows that fighting friends is part of the business, especially on a reality show in which you could end up fighting anyone in the end. Cope's Team Lesnar teammates weren't jazzed that he hung out with the opposing Team Dos Santos during the reality show's six-week shoot. In fact, they thought he was a spy. But there was a reason he talked to everyone, and it's the same reason he wasn't too fazed about fighting Chuck O'Neil.

Bas Rutten Blasts The Lay and Pray Style
The legendary Bas Rutten took to Twitter to rant about the "Lay n Pray" style which again reared its ugly head in the main event of The Ultimate Fighter 13 Finale main event between Clay Guida and Anthony Pettis, here is what Bas had to say: I am not taking anything away from Guida, he did what he needs to do and actually has no choice to do something different. But, Pettis was attacking on his feet, and he was attacking on the ground, non stop. There should be something done with refereeing, otherwise we are gonna see way more of these fights, we are already seeing some. If somebody takes you down, but can't really get the better of the person he took down, they, at least, shouldn't count that takedown. Full Article: For the record: Bas is the King..!!

UFC Quick Quote: Michael Bisping replaced Osama Bin Laden as the most hated man in America
Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 14 coach Jason Miller (via Heavy.com) isn't waiting for the cameras to roll before taking his shots at opposing coach Michael Bisping, who will try and lead a team of mixed martial arts contestants to the promised land on the Spike TV reality show later this year. "Mayhem" was set to make his Octagon return against Aaron Simpson at UFC 132 until Chael Sonnen fought the law -- and the law won.

Weekend Rundown: Teixeira Wins 10th Straight
Brazil’s top light heavyweight free agent made quick work of an overmatched opponent Saturday at Shooto Brazil 23, the first stop on what could be Glover Teixeira’s last tour of his home circuit before jumping stateside. Inside the Hebrew Social and Sports Club in Rio de Janeiro, the 31-year-old Teixeira used his famously heavy hands to drub Amapaense Simao Melo, a replacement for original adversary Maurilio “Touro” de Souza. After a brief struggle on the ground, Teixeira unleashed a flurry of knees and punches, finishing the 211-pound catchweight contest with a lights-out right cross at 1:49 of the opening round. The knockout extended Teixeira’s winning streak to 10 and marked the start of a busy summer for the onetime Chuck Liddell sparring partner.

Rick Story Explains Taking UFC on Versus 4 Fight With Nate Marquardt
Fresh off his win over top contender Thiago Alves at UFC 130: Rampage vs. Hamill, Story took a couple days to rest, went back into training, and jumped at the opportunity to get right back into preparing for a fight by accepting a bout with former middleweight title contender Nate Marquardt. The bout will take place at UFC on Versus 4 on June 26. Accepting a fight against top competition usually entails several weeks of training camp leading into the bout. Noons vs. Masvidal: The Most Important Lightweight Fight No One's Talking About
In the midst of all the lightweight action over in the UFC lately, a very important lightweight bout that will be going down in Strikeforce in 13 days is completely flying under the radar. With Nick Diaz moving over to the UFC to fight champion Georges St. Pierre at UFC 137, a lot of people are assuming the next one to make the jump will be Strikeforce lightweight champion Gilbert Melendez. Could it happen? Sure. But if it doesn't, the focus will be on who Melendez is going to defend his title against next in the confines of a Strikeforce cage. And it almost assuredly will be the winner of June 18th's bout between KJ Noons and Jorge "Gamebred" Masvidal.
