GSP Opens As -425 Favorite to Diaz +325 Underdog For Rumored UFC Bout
Even though the fight isn’t yet official, the odds have opened on the potential UFC welterweight title fight with champion Georges St-Pierre as a huge favorite over potential challenger Nick Diaz.
The odds come courtesy of Nick Kalikas from BetonFighting.com
According to the odds released late Saturday night, St-Pierre opened at a -425 favorite with Nick Diaz coming in as the underdog at +325.
In his last fight against Jake Shields, who is of course a teammate and close friend of Diaz, St-Pierre came in at nearly -500 odds, so he’s not quite as much of a favorite this time around, but he’s very close...
Fighting With Heart: Mark Miller Readies for Comeback Fight
It's long been a cliche, a fighter saying he's willing to die in the cage. For Mark Miller, he never knew how close he could have been to making that literal.
At 39, Miller returns to the fight game on Saturday in Moscow in a kickboxing match at the Ultimate Glory World Series. But his comeback, fighting for the first time in more than five years, has little to do with his age. The nearly foot-long scar down the center of his chest tells the bigger story.
When Miller gets in the ring against Nikolaj Falin, he will become the first known professional fighter to return after open-heart surgery.
Amanda Nunes vs. Julie Kedzie Added to Strikeforce: Overeem vs. Werdum
Twenty-two-year-old striking sensation Amanda Nunes will return to the cage on June 18, when she takes on veteran Julie Kedzie.
Strikeforce confirmed the matchup will take place on June 18's Strikeforce: Overeem vs. Werdum event in Dallas.
Nunes made her U.S. debut on a January Strikeforce Challengers series card, knocking out fellow striker Julia Budd in just 14 seconds. The highlight-reel win opened many eyes and lifted Nunes' name into the conversation of 145-pound contenders.
Superior Cage Combat 1 results: Justin Bucholz front kick KO's Steve Lopez
The front kick struck again.
Five-time UFC veteran Justin Buchholz (11-6) was the latest Steven Seagal-channeling athlete to implement the suddenly sexy strike, and the blow delivered a third-round knockout of two-time UFC fighter Steve Lopez (12-5).
Buchholz's jaw-dropping strike came with just 30 seconds remaining in the main event of Superior Cage Combat 1, which took place Saturday at Las Vegas' Bally's Event Center.

BAMMA 6 Results: Kong Dissects Ninja in 3
In what was expected to be BAMMA Middleweight Champion Tom Watson's toughest test to date the Southampton, England native made it look easy. Loose and sharp on his feet and excellently setting up his bludgeoning kicks with crisp punches he looked to have his opponent Murilo Rua figured out from the beginning, likely a product of focusing his training camp for this fight at Team Greg Jackson in New Mexico. Murilo appeared a little doughy and possibly out of shape. Even when warming up the Chute Boxe product and Pride Veteran looked to have lost some flexibility in his hamstrings. Had he taken his opponent too lightly?
KSW 16 Results: Mamed Khalidov Chokes Out Matt Lindland, James Thompson Wills Way to Victory
The nail in the coffin may have finally been struck for the career of Matt Lindland at KSW 16 on Saturday as Sengoku veteran Mamed Khalidov made quick work of the UFC veteran, choking him out via guillotine in the first round of action in the main event of the evening in Gdansk, Poland. Lindland's vaunted wrestling background was only a minor threat during the fight when he nearly reversed Khalidov's attempt to take him down shortly after the fight started. After a brief scramble, Lindland was able to regain his feet, but that only staved off the inevitable for a short time.

Retired but Busier Than Ever, Randy Couture at Peace with New Chapter of Life
It had only been a few days since Randy Couture retired from mixed martial arts competition after his UFC 129 fight with Lyoto Machida when he returned home to Las Vegas, and one of his first stops was one of his most familiar ones: the cage. Couture walked into his Xtreme Couture gym, changed into his workout clothes and commenced training with a group of pro fighters.
"Everyone was scratching their heads looking at me going, 'You know, this is how rumors get started,'" Couture says with a laugh.
Junior Dos Santos Discusses Shane Carwin and UFC 131
I’m much focused. I’ve been training hard for two months now, there’s almost a month left before the bout, and I’m doing just fine. I’m on a great patch in my life, thanks’ God, I’m feeling fine and I want to fight. I don’t fight for a long time. Last time I fought it was August of 2010

Anthony Johnson, Former Manager Ken Pavia Air Dirty Laundry in Twitter Exchange
UFC welterweight fighter Anthony Johnson took to Twitter last night to praise his new manager, Glenn Robinson of Authentic Sports Management, and take a few parting shots at his former manager Ken Pavia. The exchange involved a disagreement regarding an amount of money Johnson was supposed to receive from Pavia. Pavia stated that Johnson still owes the commission on the purse money, so Pavia deducted a sponsor check to make up for the amount lost.
