Last night (Sat. November 3, 2018) the UFC made their return to Madison Square Garden for UFC 230.

Opening up the main card of the show was a pivotal middleweight bout. Rising 185-pound star Israel Adesanya made quick work of Derek Brunson. Adesanya was able to knock Brunson out late in the first round, a finish worthy of a Performance Of The Night bonus worth an extra $50,000.

And finally, in the co-main event of the night, Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza locked horns with former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman. Weidman looked like he was well on his way to winning the contest, however, the Brazilian pulled one out the hat with a last-minute knockout shot.

Too bad burgos didn't see a bonus. That was a beautiful sub and right after getting dropped.

After going 13-0 with 9 finishes, Weidman is 1-4 in his last 5, finished in all the losses.

Exciting fighter, but not a title contender at this moment.

Weidman, Romero, Rockhold and Jacare have all fought one another now finally. These guys were and arguably still are the top 4-5 guys in the world and have been for many years now.

Weidman- Loss Rockhold, Loss Romero, Loss Jacare.

Romero- win Jacare, Win Rockhold, Win Weidman

Jacare- Win Weidman, Loss Rockhold, Loss Romero

Rockhold- Win Weidman, Win Jacare, Loss Romero.

So pretty much now you can definitively rank these guys, although Rockhold fought Jacare many years ago now I still count it but I believe if this fight took place currently then Jacare would have a much better chance of winning taking into account his improved striking and the fact Rockhold’s boxing and boxing defence sucks.

1. Romero
2. Rockhold
3. Jacare
4. Weidman
