The UFC’s sixth stop in Los Angeles occurred on Saturday when UFC 227 went down at Staples Center. The card aired on pay-per-view following prelims on FX and UFC Fight Pass.

A rivalry was settled in the main event when T.J. Dillashaw (16-3 MMA, 12-3 UFC) once again proved his superiority to Cody Garbrandt (11-2 MMA, 6-2 UFC) with a first-round TKO. It was a monumental achievement for the UFC bantamweight champion, who has now defended his belt during two separate title reigns.

History also happened in the co-headliner. Henry Cejudo (13-2 MMA, 6-2 UFC) brought an end to Demetrious Johnson’s (27-3-1 MMA, 15-2-1 UFC) historic title run when he came out on the winning end of a split decision to claim the UFC flyweight title.

He beats Cruz then he can be regarded as the greatest ever. A lot of good contenders right now at BW but even though Cruz is coming of a loss id still like to see him fight Dillashaw and settle this thing.

It's like choosing between Cain and Stipe at Heavyweight if Cain had beaten Stipe at some point years earlier.

It's Cruz for now.

True about the heavyweights but I still hold Cain a level above Stipe. Call me crazy but I was never impressed with Stipe, sure he is well rounded but just isn’t super skilled in any one area. Cain on the other hand had his wrestling and crazy cardio pace that made him stand out from the rest.

Still Cruz. He snatched it from the best-ever of the division at the time, Faber. TJ needs to build a resume as a champ before he’s even considered in the conversation. Even if he beats Cruz, there will still be doubters because Cruz has been plagued by injuries as of recent. I think he has to finish Cruz and have a good run to be considered GOAT of the division.
