“I’m done. I’m retiring. I’m getting out of the MMA world,” Hendricks told MMAjunkie Radio. “I’ve been thinking about this long and hard for a while. I’m going to get back to my roots. I’m going to start coaching at All Saints (Episcopal School in Fort Worth, Texas). I coached a little bit of high school last year, but I’m going to make the move over to All Saints and start doing those things.”

Good riddance. Never liked the guy. But I will say this, I always felt like he got squeezed by the judges, the GSP fight-Lawler rematch (arguably). I felt he won those fights. We all want to scream "steroids, PEDS, USADA" Lets not forget, he's not the only fighter who's physique/skills changed during this USADA era. He can at least walk away with his chin up and say "hey, I was a champion and I made some money." That can't be taken away. I can definitely see him getting back into MMA at some point as a wrestling coach, the guy was a PHENOMENAL wrestler!

Never liked him as well but he definitely got screwed over by the judges in the GSP fight.

I actually didn’t think his last few fights where too bad other than the Boetsch loss. He made a good account of himself against Magny and Borrachinha.

Although if I’m not mistaken he did miss weight in the Magny fight by 27 pounds...
