We may have seen the last of Michael Bisping.

While Brad Tavares is set on being Bisping’s retirement fight, it appears that the future UFC Hall of Famer has other ideas. On the most recent episode of his Believe You Me podcast, Bisping addressed rumors of a potential fight between him and Nick Diaz as Bisping’s final bout, saying they are completely untrue and that he is “probably retired” anyway, he just hasn’t officially said it.

A Diaz fight, it appears, is one that would interest Bisping though. The former middleweight champion says that he has a lot of respect for the Stockton product and would be willing to forego retirement for a bout with Diaz, with one caveat.

Why 195. Just do it at 185 or retire. This is the perfect matchup for his last fight is not against Rashad or Rockhead.

Agreed, Diaz isn't even a real MW.....him fighting up at 185 is more than enough, 195 would be fighting 25 lbs above his natural weight class.

A Nick Diaz retirement fight is the best he could hope for. Rockhold or even Tavares would probably beat him badly

I voted Diaz because it'd be a good retirement beating for Bisping and it would be an easy fight for Nick. I just don't see a world where this happens, though. Diaz only wants big money fights and Lisping surely does not have the draw Nick would like to see. I love the Diaz brothers but Nick needs to retire or ramp up his training camps better. They're style is being passed up and you're seeing young/hungry cats come in with better pedigree's that have/will surpass them soon. Either way, I'd tune in.

I actually think this is a fight that may interest Nick. Bisping is a former UFC champion, a UFC veteran and a household name. He's top 3 in most UFC wins. Nick has recently hinted at making a return and this could very well be the fight the UFC looks to book. It doesn't sound like Bisping is in a rush, so that gives Nick the time needed. I wouldn't be surprised one bit if this fight happens.... I actually have a feeling it will.

Anything to get Nick back, but it could be the retirement fight for both of them at this point.
