Wow, I'm so far behind on events right now (I have about 10 fight cards on my DVR) That I've been off the MMA news feed for about 6 months to avoid spoilers. I picked a hell of a day to break radio silence. Fook him, what a scumbag. By Felicia.
I think this lowered his antics to Daley-hitting-Koscheck level. Dude needs a reality check which could very well be getting fired. He'd be a draw no matter what promotion signed him, but would someone like Bellator take the risk? Probably not without significant behavioral changes and strict contracts.
I liked Conor, a lot. I thought he was good for the sport. He might be able to turn it around, but this goes way beyond publicity, or acceptance that the sport can be brutal. It's incitement to violence outside of the sport's intent (and if that means tough questions are asked about the sport overall, that's okay).

Khabib Nurmagomedov reacts to Conor McGregor’s bus attack: ‘I am laughing’
“I am laughing inside,” Nurmagomedov said. “You broke window? Why? Come inside. You know UFC don’t let you come inside. If you real gangster why don’t you come inside?
“This is big history gangster place. Brooklyn. You want to talk to me? Send me location. We have to talk?
I am gonna come, no problem. “I grew up like this. I don’t grow up throwing chairs at window. This is not my bus.”
“This is not my team bus, this is red corner bus,” he said. “My whole team wasn’t with me. It was just me, (my manager) Ali Abdelaziz and a cornerman, Muhammed. The whole red corner was on the bus. Rose Namajunas, Al Iaquinta, Karolina Kowalkiewicz, Ray Borg. Everyone.”
Asked if he was injured, Nurmagomedov said, “I am good. I feel good. Tomorrow, I am going to make weight. On Saturday, I am going to take belt and change the game.”
“To be honest, I don’t want him to go to jail,” Nurmagomedov said. “We have to fight. If we have to fight, let’s fight. Send me location. Please, we have to fix this. Me and you. One-on-one. You want 10-on-10? OK.
“I give his whole team slap and no one say anything. He come with media, with cameras when I’m alone. Of course I want to go outside but they don’t let me leave the bus. He knows this.
“They don’t do nothing. I’m here.”
When asked on Wednesday about the Lobov run-in, Nurmagomedov shrugged it off as “nothing,” however, on Thursday he said, “I explained to Artem like a small baby, ‘Hey, no more talk about me.’”
This is a terrible look for the UFC and the sport. The only reason the casual panel shows even mentioned the UFC today was because of Conor's tweet. Now this will be the only thing they talk about. No mention of rose, jj, Pettis, khabib, or Holloway, just more about Conor. It really is despicable, he is absolutely famished for attention.
Brett Okamoto - @bokamotoESPN 12m12 Per sources, Chiesa/Pettis and Borg/Moreno are both off. Chiesa’s facial cuts, and his weight cut was thrown off. Borg started to experience problems with his eye, from the particles of glass.
this incident cost us 3 fights,
Chiesa vs Pettis Borg vs Moren Caceres vs Lobov
Brutal.

Conor McGregor was taken into custody and officially arrested at 10:23 pm ET. Multiple charges pending. He is currently at the 78th precinct in Brooklyn.
Ariel Helwani - @arielhelwani
Related: I’ve been standing outside that precinct for 4 hours now but they secretly brought him in through a side door. No one saw him go inside.
Braden bro my bad about posting the news article after you posted it here. I didn't know. That's happened a couple of times today. Yours on top of things. Appreciate it
I’ve read 3 charges so far on Conor McGregor. Criminal Mischief felony for damage to bus, Assault 3 misdemeanor on someone named Jason who claims he was punched and Assault 3 reckless for injuring Chiesa following the hand truck through the bus window.
Just as I feared, the casual media in some instances has spun this as a planned stunt that got out of hand. This essentially insinuates the UFC was in on this and the panelists even confused it with WWE. This is what people removed from the sport are going to be thinking. Dana was non committal in an earlier interview and should be appearing on "get up" at 830est. Anything less than firing conor at this point will not only make the UFC look like as big a joke as the NFL when it comes to disciplinary actions but also makes them look complicit.
