WWE just got a little “Rowdy.”

Ronda Rousey made her highly anticipated appearance at the WWE Royal Rumble on Sunday night in Philadelphia. The former UFC women’s bantamweight champion confronted three of WWE’s top women’s wrestlers. Then she shook the hand of WWE exec Stephanie McMahon, who was sitting ringside.

Rousey came out at the very end of the major show to a huge pop from the crowd, which chanted “Holy sh*t!” After sizing up the three women in the ring, she looked up and pointed toward the WrestleMania sign high above Wells Fargo Center.

In an interview with ESPN, Rousey said she has signed with WWE to be a full-time performer.

she still might come back in 6-7 years and could still armbar the future champ in under a minute

Could, but unlikely if that champ is anywhere near as good and well rounded as Nunes is.

Good for her. I think it’ll be a great fit. Unfortunately this is ammo for fighters to make crude jokes.

Like that she can't fight, and can't act, so this is the perfect fit for her?

I sense some sarcasm there lol. Yes. Exactly that. “She’s no real fighter. So she went to only place she could be a champ.” Stuff along those lines.

The superstar she was in UFC won't translate in wwe. She looked incredibly uncomfortable in her small roll at the rumble has zero prescense with her interviews and I don't see her being anywhere close to the star that Brock was. I bet the WWE abandons this idea by 2019 as none of the female wrestlers have any interest in putting her over.
