Michael Bisping is getting right back on the horse.

A week after losing the middleweight title to Georges St-Pierre at UFC 217, Bisping has agreed to fight Kelvin Gastelum in the main event of UFC Shanghai in two weeks, MMA Fighting has learned.

Bisping replaces Anderson Silva, who was provisionally suspended by the United States Anti-Doping Agency on Friday and subsequently removed from the card. Silva failed an out-of-competition drug test administered by USADA on Oct. 26, however, it’s unknown at this time which substance he tested positive for.

Gastelum can put Bisping away for sure. It's the right call to come back straight away but no easy fights for him

Props to Bisping! I was thinking maybe Brad Tavares or Boetsch but this is better.

Winnable fight for both but KG should be the slight favorite I'm thinking.

Well, I take back what I said about Bisping. Much respect for him taking on someone as dangerous as KG on 2 weeks notice, all while coming off of the most important fight of his life.

I think this fight will be a pick 'em. Kelvin probably has the striking to beat Bisping but Bisping is a pretty big MW and Kelvin is a bloated WW so who knows how this will go.

Wow. I definitely didn't see this coming. Props to Bisping for stepping in to save this card. Makes it just as compelling imo.

Very bold of bisping but he really should stay out for a bit longer. He got clobbered when gsp dropped him and took a lot of damage on the ground afterward. The brain probably needs a bit more time to recover. Kelvin should ko him
