UFC 217 was full of memorable performances. So much so that four Performance of the Night bonuses weren’t enough.

Each of the three new champions crowned on Saturday night at Madison Square Garden in New York City took home an extra $50,000 for their efforts.

Georges St-Pierre, who choked out Michael Bisping in the main event to win the UFC middleweight title; T.J. Dillashaw, who finished Cody Garbrandt to claim his second UFC bantamweight championship; and Rose Namajunas, who made Joanna Jedrzejczyk tap to strikes in their strawweight title fight; all won titles and all took home bonuses.

I don't think so. I predicted 2 changing hands and I'm super happy that the 1 i didn't predict Rose winning was sooo awesome. 3 cocky champions got served up some humble pie.

That's definitely a contender for event of the year. Last night was such a good card. The prelims were filled with highlights and so was the main card. Then you get the excitement of seeing 3 new champs crowned (All great finishes). It was satisfying seeing all three losers in the title fights humbled a bit too. I think they all needed it. Overall, it doesn't get much better than that.

This was the first occurrence in the UFC. Another confluence: all 3 champions were dropped by hooks.

Wild night! Haven't watched a PPV in a while, happy I made the time for this one.
