Cannabidiol will be removed from the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) prohibited list beginning in 2018, WADA announced Friday. Cannabidiol, most commonly known as CBD, is a cannabinoid contained in cannabis. Currently, all cannabinoids are prohibited in-competition by WADA.

This is very good. It'll eliminate a lot of bs failed drug tests. If I were a fighter the first thing I'd want to do after a fight is to spark up a bowl and relax myself.

Will this affect the UFC fighters? Will they still be in trouble for testing positive for cannabis?

UFC uses USADA not WADA( a guideline not an agency)for drug testing.
This effects everyone outside the ufc including Bellator.

Nvm.... USADA follows WADA standards, which means this will be applicable for all UFC fighters when the changes are enforced next year.
For everyone thinking WADA is a joke apparently USADA follows WADA guidelines haha pretty funny.

This is a small step. CBD is the medically beneficial part of marijuana and not the psychoactive chemical. Meaning CBD oils/tinctures/rubs will be fine but smoking will still be deemed illegal as they do not have a strain with 0% THC yet.

Yep. Changing processes and institutions comes in baby steps. This is one in the right direction.

If they allowed a new steroid, I'd be against it myself.
