UFC 216 is nine days away, but two fighters looked ready to go during Thursday’s media lunch in Los Angeles.

UFC lightweight contender Tony Ferguson and former heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum sat down to talk to the media in Los Angeles, and “El Cucuy” didn’t like when “Vai Cavalo” started to talk to a reporter while he was answering a question.

Man, Werdum just comes off like such a jackass. Dude is always picking fights with guys smaller than him and he acts like he's some megastar. Why? Because he beat Cain Valequez once and then failed to defend the title?

I hope Lewis humbles him at 216

Came here to pose something similar to this. Picks fights with everyone outside his weight class. He puts on this nice guy persona but I feel in reality he’s a bit of a dick. I’ve never met him, so who really knows?

I can see why Werdum got mad Ferguson basically told the interviewer that he would kick Werdum's ass for a title but Ferguson is right he was being fake because he chose to speak over him instead of calling him out right there and then it wasn't till Ferguson told him to shut his mouth is when he showed his anger but who really cares Werdum left and didn't do anything. I wanted to see some banging.

I met Werdum. He was really nice and even though he was in a rush he still took his time to take a photos with fans. One guy's picture wasn't turning out and it took 6 times before he got a decent photo, but Werdum didn't rush him. The people Werdum was with were trying to rush Werdum, telling him he had to be somewhere right now, but Werdum signed all the autographs and took pics with everyone who approached him in the MGM Grand casino area. Plus, he chatted briefly... and this was after he won the belt so his head didn't swell because he was a champion, like I've seen others do. I just think he clashes with his fellow fighters for whatever reason, but he's great with the general public. Lewis is a little raunchy, but he showed his good side when that hurricane hit Texas, so may the best man win.

I take it you mean Werdum is probably gone after this fight? I expect you're right especially if he loses against Lewis.

Nope, just laughing at Tony's quote in the video.
Only reason Werdum will ever be gone is if he decides he's too old to keep doing it. He's one of the best to ever do it.

I agree he's an all time great and I've always been a fan but UFC did cut him before and if he loses against Lewis I won't be surprised if he gets cut again.
I actually didn't watch the vid
