Four fighters earned Performance of the Night bonuses at UFC Fight Night 112 on Sunday night in Oklahoma City.

Kevin Lee earned an extra $50,000 for his controversial submission win over Michael Chiesa in the main event. Meanwhile, Tim Boetsch picked up a bonus for his second-round TKO of Johny Hendricks in the co-main event.

Earlier on the main card, Dominick Reyes made some extra money in his UFC debut with a 29-second TKO of Joachim Christensen. Jeremy Kimball kicked off the card with a bang, getting a bonus for his first-round TKO of Josh Stansbury.

A submission bonus for not submitting someone

In all fareness though Lee was mauling Chiesa. Hard to say what would have happened if it kept going. Lee changed to gable grip and it still looked super tight but Chiesa seemed to have a bit better angle and may have survived there for a while...it just sucks when the ref fucks it up and we don't get a definitive decision

Chiesa was goong nowhere. He can argue all he wants, Lee was about to put him to sleep.

You don't know that at all. Fighters have come back from deep chokes many times including Justine Kish on the same card

Kish rolled through bc her body wasn't secured tho. Look how tight the body lock is and Chesia isn't even fighting hands at the end. It was a weak stoppage but Chesia was done.

To his credit, Chiesa is really good at coming back from adversity. Dude's a dirty dog. I do agree he was getting lamped and trapped, and I don't easily see him getting out of that, but Yamasaki blew the call. This should take only a little away from Lee who came out and backed up his talk. I like him a lot and I hope he continues to do well.

Hendricks is done. Had an extra 15 lbs to make weight, still couldn't put down the A1 Thick & Hearties from Whataburger, and he gets bulldozed by a physically superior guy in every way (including weight management).

I agree with jw and fka2.0, that stoppage was shit but cheesa was dead to rights. Aussie has a point that you can't really know what a guy is done via choke, but his arms went limp and were making nearly a tapping motion. I don't think he had a real escape there and no hands on the arms or hands of Lee. It was a pretty strong showing by Lee, to his credit.

New rule: don't use the verb touch in place of strike or hit. "He's touching bj everywhere". That might be one Cruz wants back...

Yeah my point was we just don't know what would have happened. It was tight and Lee did have the body lock but from when Lee had the rear naked to when he went to the gable grip Chiesa had a bit better angle to work with

I think if it was in the middle of the round he would have nothing to say but there was like 25 seconds left in the round. I think he could have made it to the end of the round.

Chiesa got robbed. Do I think he was getting out of that choke? No but he still deserves the chance to go out on his shield. I hope this becomes a no-contest. Also shorts were pooped.

It was a bullshit stoppage but no way should be a no contest, that just completely takes it away from Lee
