Really upset to hear this particularly after reading that he was 1-3 boxer (either going into this or after this loss not sure) and fought a 7-1 guy who was signed to some top promotion I believe. It was a give me fight for Hague's opponent and I read he dropped him 3 times in the first and then knocked out in the 2nd. Why did a squash match need to allowed to go on this much?!

It's possible that being in Tim's backyard hurt him here since they let the fights go on longer than it should have in hope of a comeback but it sounds like they let him get pounded on for no reason and now we lose a long time member of the MMA community when it could have been prevented. My condolences to his family.

He had also been KOed 7 times in 2 years. Athletic commissions need to start putting the kibosh on scheduled fights when you've been knocked out this many times. I worry about guys like Bigfoot Silva.

The stupid ref, it's the same one that let Kim Couture get choked out for 10 seconds after she had already gone out
