At this point, since he's insisted on keeping that unneeded gut weight, and has insisted on not using his BJJ, his only decent matchups will be against other slow fighters whom rely on their single punches to win by quick KO. Any decent fighter in the know, knows how to pick apart a guy like Roy by now. His heydays are pretty much over. He should have shaved that gut off...allowing him to go down to LHW where he belongs, sans gut. He woulda been faster there. But he's 40 years old now. He missed his train. That gut is there to stay. Coulda Shoulda Woulda.

The UFC should have kept him bad move by them in my opinion. Everyone wants to see a big fat guy KO people. Who cares about records he brings viewers
I would agree with this if he were the same fighter he was 5 years ago. He only has 1 KO win in his last 7 fights, spanning 3 years at this point.

I'm interested by Fedor and Rampage fights for him. Heck even a King Mo fight. Honestly two of Bellator's top Hw's he's already knocked out (mitrione and Kongo) everyone else is a fresh fight he could concivebly win. I even got myself interested in a Bobby Lashley fight. Lashley has earned a name and step up and Nelson has earned a step back and with both guys having some name value I think it would do good cable numbers on par with weaker UFC fight nights.
