Anthony Pettis is back at 155 pounds.

The former UFC and WEC lightweight champion has ended his two-fight experiment at featherweight and will return to the division over which he once ruled.

Pettis will meet veteran Jim Miller at UFC 213 in Las Vegas on July 8. MMAFighting.com confirmed an initial report by Combate.

This fight makes a lot of sense. Two veterans, if Pettis loses then he might be questioning his fighting future. If he wins, then some confidence is restored. I know Miller recently said he wants to get to 30 fights in the UFC before he's done.

Stylistically, this is Anthony's fight to lose, but solid gameplans tend to be difficult for him to deal with. Either way, should be a good scrap.

Would be happy to see Pettis lose this fight and retire.
