Ian McCall is probably the most popular fighter on the UG, and absolutely the most cursed. At UFC 208 McCall was forced off the card at the last moment after suffering gastrointestinal distress. It was his fifth fight in a row to be canceled, and his eight in the past three years.

‘Uncle Creepy’ detailed what happened during a recent appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience.

“I asked them, I’m like. ‘Listen, just let me fight…’ And they looked at me like, ‘No dude, you need to go to the hospital.’ Then they were gonna do emergency gallbladder surgery which they didn’t have to do thank god. This whole thing scared the s*** out of me. When the doctor says, ‘Oh well you could die, you never know,’ I’m like, what the f*** do you mean you never know?” “[My gallbladder] was super shrunk – contracted. I guess [from the dehydration]. And then they saw shadowing and some other stuff [on the tests] and they thought I had gall stones… Then they did a more advanced version of the ultrasound and they didn’t see anything so they didn’t have to do [surgery]. So basically we’re just running tests, been running tests all week.

I been saying for McCall to retire..I mean how many fights can be cancel due to McCall's body not being healthy..and yes some of his opponents pulled out also, but more on him..and this is a sign that his body isn't gonna last doing these weight cuts..I either say more up a weight or retire, cus ur body just can't handle it anymore..

I would like to say something constructive but he needs to retire. Plain and simple.

Move up in weight or retire that's his only 2 options.

and he should be a precautionary tale for other fighters about being a party animal, dangerous training regimes, and huge weight cuts....not good for longevity.
