In MMA as in most professional fields, there’s a big difference between being released and quitting. For Bubba Jenkins, that line was a little blurred on Tuesday, when news came down that the veteran had been released by Bellator.

Bubba is going to learn that while Bellator isn't the "fighters first" promotion they claim to be, neither are any of the others out there.

Promoters care about their promotion. You're a tool for them to make money with, nothing more.
