The UFC’s final event of 2016 will reportedly double as the final broadcast for Mike Goldberg. Following a report from EntImports, MMA Fighting’s Luke Thomas confirmed on Wednesday that Goldberg will depart the company following this Friday’s UFC 207: Nunes vs. Rousey pay-per-view in Las Vegas, Nevada. There has been no official comment made by the UFC.

Bas Rutten, Kenny florian, Eddie Bravo, and a few others have been mentioned as replacements, but i doubt the ufc brass picking any of those.

Totally fine with that....just as long as Gus Johnson doesn't replace him.

it would be great if they picked up Bas, since Inside MMA has came to a end and now Goldie is going..u need a color commentator and plus Bas would stop Rogans bias comments

I doubt it would be Bas or Kenny. They aren't play by play guys. Eddie Bravo did some play by play in Pride but I haven't heard him do any in MMA since then. He also asked Rogan who was replacing Goldie on a Fight Companion podcast a few weeks ago before this was even announced.
Whoever replaces Goldie is going to be a square guy who will focus on the sponsorship plugs and fill up any dead air. The rumour I'm seeing a lot of is Jim Rome. Not sure how I feel about that tbh. Another option they could go with is to have Aink and Stann cover the events Goldie and Rogan do now and leave all the Fight Pass cards up to Hardy and Gooden.

I don't hate Rome since he was always the only pro MMA guy on ESPN (back when he worked for them) and at least he likes the sport.
I don't know why everyone wants Bas so badly, the guy was a good fighter but he is even harder to listen to than Goldie!
Please not Bas, again nothing against the man just hate the commentator and is like 10 years past his prime on the Mic. He's a big part why I stopped watching WSOF. That and the cards went from good to absolute trash lol

Etchee Bra would make an absolute horrible commentator. He's talk about Tower 7 the whole time. And for Jim Rome. Fuck off. I'd quit watching the UFC before I'd listen to him commentate. I heard rumblings of Mauro Renallo, but I'm not a huge fan of his boisterous verbiage. And a lot of the current commentators would be a good fit along side Rogan but honestly, Bas would be an awesome addition. Two top commentators, both with varying martial arts experience. Match made in heaven. I have been pleasantly surprised with the professional decisions made thus far. A lot of decisions have been consistent and unwavering. The recent LW title rumors are interesting and curious to see how they'll play out. That's another subject, but at least there have been some consistent decisions from the top.
