Matt Schnell didn’t win “The Ultimate Fighter 24,” but he’s got a spot on the undercard of the show’s live finale.

As MMAjunkie reported this week, Alejandro Perez was forced to withdraw from his bout with Rob Font. UFC officials have since confirmed that Schnell has stepped in as a replacement.

The TUF 24 Finale takes place Saturday at The Pearl at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. The card airs on FS1 following early prelims on UFC Fight Pass, though the bout order hasn’t been finalized.

Such a sick card. People are sleeping on this because DJ has wiped out a division and the UFC is looking for opponents outside the UFC so people see the main event and brush it off.

I'm excited as all hell to see DJ fight again. Barring a miracle of some kind, I fully expect DJ to demolish whoever is put in front of him that evening.

Than there's JoBen & Cejudo! WOOWEE! And let's not sleep on Masvidal & Ellenberger either, could go either way. Also, Davis & McMann? Might be boring on paper but has some implications for the division. Then on top of all that, we get to see the BJJ wizard that is Ryan Hall, future 'Demian Maia' if he can keep the wins going. And I cannot wait to see Maestro back in action, that dude is a tornado. Let's not forget about Kailin...but that's for personal reasons lol

Fantastic card top to bottom!
I'm very pleased with Schnell as a late replacement as well. The kid is a gamer & I liked what a saw on TUF. Hope he wins it

Schnell is a good replacement. Every bit as good as the original bout.

Card looks much better than FN 101. 101 wasn't much of a card honestly.

Sucks Schnell is a FLYW tho...Font should be able to hurt him on the feet as he'll likely be the bigger fighter and Schnell loves to stand and bang as well. Fun fight for the fans while it lasts.
