Kendall Grove has been on the open market before. Except that time, he didn't expect it.

In 2011, Grove dropped a unanimous decision to Tim Boetsch at UFC 130 and he was released by the promotion. Yes, the Ultimate Fighter 3 winner had lost two in a row, but the first defeat came against Demian Maia and Boetsch is a perennial top-15 fighter at middleweight.

"The UFC didn't want me and I only lost two decisions to two tough guys and they let me go for some reason," Grove said. "But that's the business. I'm not mad over it. I'm a little disappointed, but it's their company."

Da Spyder is a warrior in the pro game since 2003. He had a helluva run in the UFC and now he's winding down in Bellator. Honestly, he has nothing to prove and I hope he inks a deal where he can fight a few more and get paid and then retire. Honestly, if he were to retire after his next fight, I'd have no qualms. Dude is a legend.

Hes a veteran of the sport hes still on early 30s hes still got a good amount of fight left in him.

I've always liked him hes always ready to fight and has a great attitude.I wouldn't call him a legend hes done well but falls apart against upper echelon of fighters.Hes an established veteran that's more accurate....

His groundgame is good really tricky and lanky ,his standup is pretty well rounded but not a killer....hope he does well in the future be it with Bellator or whoever.

UFC could easily bring him back if he wins. Nothing wrong with grabbing guys like Kendall to put up against your young guys to see what there made of.
