Nick Diaz being suspended for five years is looking less and less likely.

The Nevada Athletic Commission released a statement Wednesday, confirming that it is indeed in settlement talks with Diaz's legal team despite its decision last month to suspend Diaz five years and fine him $165,000 for a third marijuana offense.

Good stuff

He should be allowed to fight as soon as they settle I think. He should get his $165k back also.

Nothing's going to happen to the NAC.

Sadly...a fighter does the 'wrong thing' and he's punished. The NSAC does a 'wrong thing' and nothing happens. Easy living when you make the rules *winks at Goodell*

Hopefully this means Diaz is held accountable in accordance with how the NSAC stated they would delegate punishment. The rule itself should be changed but it is as he and everyone else knows it today, he doesn't deserve to have the rules bent up around him what so ever. Abandon the arbitrary punishment and adhere to the protocols they themselves put in place, 36 months and 60% of his purse.

Hahaha Goodell..smh at Goodell..but Diaz had a really good team of lawyers..those 2 guys def knew what was gonna happen as soon as NAC handed Diaz his punishment..those 2 broke down all the wrongs NAC was doing to Diaz and was gonna take it to a actually court and NAC does not want to be in a real court..yeah for Nick and for weed lol
