RIO DE JANEIRO -- UFC heavyweight Fabricio Werdum doesn’t mind if he’s not headlining a card in his first title defense.

It would be smart for the UFC to do that imo. If not Heavyweight, choose bantamweight or Flyweight. It would be good to get one of these champs in a division that doesn't draw too well some serious exposure. I'd also load up the card from top to bottom with prospects. Try and build the names of the next guys coming up.

He's smart. Exposure and what not. Good thinking on his part. Knowing he can't match #'s that Aldo/McGregor would put out. If you can't beat em, join em!

More MMA fans should be exposed to the Werdum trollface.

I doubt it. Only reason why is cause

Rousey wants co main to connor on new years eve card

Rousey gets what she wants.

I think new years eve will be

Connor vs aldo
Rousey vs tate 3
And cm punk.

Would not be shocked since werdum is out that
Melbourne gets lawler vs Condit
With Dec ppv getting Weidman vs rockhold
Rda vs cerrone

Man if they really wanted to blow down the roof and destroy their UFC PPV record they make....

Connor vs Aldo
Werdum vs Stipe
Rampage vs Shogun 2
Alves vs Diego Sanchez (155)
Hunt vs Big Foot/Duffee or a WW slugfest like Brown vs Stephen Thompson 2

I feel it's tough to say who's going to be headlining and co-headlining UFC 193, UFC 194 and UFC 195. Each time I think a certain title will end up somewhere, more news comes out that makes it seem like a different title will end up there.

I'm guessing Rousey ends up as one of the title fights in Melbourne at UFC 193 so that'll leave the co-main spot for Aldo/McGregor open. If they have the LW and MW title defended before 195 (at 193 or 194) and don't fill it with the BW title then I could see Werdum with his HW title co-main the card. That'll draw eyes and butts in seats imo.

^^^ Looks like I'm incorrect about Melbourne. Sounds like Condit/Lawler will headline that card with Bisping/Whittaker as the likely co-main. Maybe they could let Rousey/Tate co-main it but I'm doubting it now though I think they should.
