Russian heavyweight legend Fedor Emelianenko made himself quite clear when asked who he would like to face upon his return to MMA.

...and beat a couple of opponents that are worth a shit...Pedro Rizzo,Satoshi Ishii, and Jeff Monson is NOT the wins that make you worthy of fighting the UFC Champion. Fedor's past is the past and his 3 fight loss streak previous to his 3 fight win streak leaves a lot of questions in my eyes. Those 3 wins are not as big as his losses to Fabricio Werdum, Antonio Silva, and Dan Henderson.

2 of those losses were against guys on trt wgo have looked much different since being off the juice.

Im not saying the win streak was impressive but losses weren't so bad.

Werdum is now ufc champ, hendo has won some sloppy fights in ufc since, bigfoot was a title challeger multiple times.

Fedors success relys entirely on how much he is truly wanting to prove, soubds lije hes hungry again but we won't know until he fights.

Straight to a title shot? I think not.

Be careful what you wish for. Werdum has improved immensely since 2010.

Fedor vs Mark Hunt!!!! :D

This is a fight I would like to see. But 3 years out of the game and right to the champ. Hmmm I would hope not, but I've seen some crazy Dana moves before.

Him getting a an immediate title shot against Werdum wouldn't surprise me but then again nothing the UFC does surprise me anymore. If they can give Gus one against Cormier, Chael against Jones, Diaz against GSP and so on...then they could easily give one to Fedor. I do think it'd be more likely they'd give him 1 fight before the title shot, but like I said, nothing the UFC does surprises me.

they should have Fedor rematch AA and give the winner a title shot, if the Mirr v AA fight gets scrapped.

I'd like to see the Werdum rematch a lot of people with his new found confidence in striking. I doubt he'd flop to his back the entire time if he were to rematch Overeem.

Overeem would still toss Werdum around like a rag doll

Personally, I would like Fedor against either Cain, Mir or AA.

I'd love to see it, I think his body of work give's him a good argument for it. I don't think it's smart though and AA should get the shot first in my mind. Props to him for wanting to fight someone of merit, at least he's not calling out Kimbo.

He doesn't deserve it but this fight would do big numbers so it wouldn't surprise me too much to see it happen. Would be a great fight for an end of the year card.

It's all up to Fedor though. I'm sure the UFC would be willing to negotiate but I don't see Fedor accepting anything they offer him.

I like how it doesn't actually quote him at all in the interview, then when you click on the link in the link it takes you to an all Russian page. We have no idea what context fedor has said that about werdum or if he has even said it.
