Following UFC 183 it was revealed that Anderson Silva tested positive for a banned substance. Silva has multiple times postponed his hearing with the Nevada commission for some reason, but it could be because the second 'b' sample showed a negative result, contradicting the first sample:

Didn't we already know this ?

So if each test definitively says yes and no then how do they fix it ? Seems to me it will never be clearly resolved.

There does seem to be some fishy stuff going on here.

If both samples were taken 2 minutes apart as the article says, why did it take 2 days longer for the sample to get to Quest Diagnostics than it did to get to SMRTL?

Quest is in Vegas while SMRTL is in Utah, you'd think the local agency would have received theirs sooner.

It just doesn't make any sense this is all coming out right now and not a month or 2 after it actually happened. As much as I love the spider and wish him the best this shit is just all around suspect.

Is it not the case this sample was sent to a non accredited lab, whereas the other 2 samples which were positive, we're from accredited labs?

After Silva's Abu Dabi fight I bet none of you thought Dana would make it up to the fans by spiking Silva's A urine sample with Lombard's blood.

Dana never forgets....

and he never forgives.

This would be the great beginning to a cheesy action movie.

A dangerous champion
The setup that crushed him
and the revenge no one would ever forget

This summer Anderson Silva stars in------------ B is for BLOOD.

So he'll probably get off. NSAC is fertita owned and they need Silva to put on fights.

Quest Labs and Sports Medicine Research & Testing Laboratory did the testing, not NSAC.

NSAC is the one potentially punishing Anderson, and they get the final say. I think.

UFC uses pull to get their star back in the cage.

Interesting.

Doesn't explain away the June 9th test or the test for the anti-anxiety medicine though.

But the June 9th test was technically out of competition.

He may be able to use this to get off on a technicality.
