GOIANIA, Brazil – Ex-interim welterweight champ Carlos Condit did the usual whatever-the-UFC-wants dance following his second-round TKO of Thiago Alves. But afterward, he was a little more insistent.

3 losses in a row and being out a year
You beat a guy not even in the top 10 and you think k that earns a title shot.

3 losses in a row? Do your research please. He retired Kampmann in between losses.

Condit doesn't deserve a title shot yet, but a fight between Condit and Lawler is just pure violence.

Condit's Record

Two losses to future/former champs. One being an injury. I say Make Condit/Woodley 2. I know you could argue the injury was a WIN/B.S. WIN either way. But they are the top two contenders. And it's hard to argue the title shot for Woodley when he beat Gastelum. Also, hard to argue Condit gets it off one win and beating Alves. DO IT DANA!! SO MANY QUESTIONS LEFT UNANSWERED THAT FIGHT!!

A win over Alves shouldn't be that rewarding.

I'm fine with Condit getting a shot... after Nick Diaz gets his.

I would prefer him to put Woodley back into his place first. Condit verse Rory or lawler are incredible fights too.

So many good match ups right now at WW.
