The UFC looks pretty foolish regarding how they've handled T Silva cutting, rehiring, recutting...Either don't cut and wait for everything to get settled, suspend and wait for everything to get settled, or cut and don't rehire until everything is settled. They look as pathetic as the Vikings right now. Either you care about the situation or you don't, you can't just care about it when it is convenient.

As for Rumble, I recall a dispute a long time ago but as the article says, nothing really came to fruition. Again, this seems like a very pathetic and convenient time for the UFC to care about something that was never formally in the books.

I don't know what is more disgraceful; not caring about wrongdoings and letting them slide or not caring until other people in a different sport care about them. Then we have the issue that all of us in the US should care about. Without a conviction should you be fired from your job if nothing has been proven in a court or should we be subject to the court of public opinion (the one that suffers no retribution if it is wrong and fucks someone's life)?

Bjpenn.com has released some videos of thiago silva high on coke and they are all over Facebook, I would say that they had something to do with him being let go.

Ufc should have investigated a little deeper in Silva case before the resigned him.

Makes them look foolish.

Rumble thing. It was like 2 years ago. Not recent.
Bad day for ufc

I dont care how good you are or how much I like you if your guilty of these things I have no interest in seeing you fight or in you as a person. I actually had Johnson on facebook about three years ago and deleted him as he was always bad mouthing his ex which was likely this person. Too many scumbags in this sport right now.

I'm really tired of off-the-field/cage crap affecting the sports I watch. I honestly don't care about that. I wasn't even on the Rumble hype train, but now we don't get to find out whether it was for real. That would have been interesting.

Back to my point. If Thiago Silva or Rumble Johnson or Adrian Peterson have gone way out of line the legal system will deal with them. Having these businesses doing as they have especially lately is fracking redundant. I watch ATHLETES. I don't need them to be polite, generous, soft-spoken...or anything like that. So aggravating.

Let the legal system deal with the worst baddies. Leave everyone else alone until the verdict comes down.

At least they have footage proving wrong doing in the Ray Rice case...a little too late but whatever. With AP they don't know what is the truth (similar to AJ and Silva) yet they are jumping to take action. Knee jerk reactions are rarely the right decisions.

If you look at this article, she claims to have security footage of Rumble knocking out her teeth while she was at work, but decided not to use it at the time a couple years ago.

If it's true then the way things have been going he is once again fucked...she should have gone to the cops with this footage years ago, kind of curious why her employer didn't report this as well.

that's life, when you have a job that is in the public eye; you get screwed on the field with off field issues. just the way PR is and especially with it being open season on NFL players, UFC needs to to get ahead of this stuff before shit gets blown way out of proportions

Still if that happened in 09 that was 5 years ago. Rumble is a changed man as hes focused on the sport and matured on the scales.

The NFL didn't hold a murder charge against Ray Lewis. So why should Rumble be punished years later because this girl didn't want to use her evidence then? Sounds to me since Rumble is hot right now she sees dollar signs.

The UFC looked like a kid with his thumb stuck up his a** over the while Silva thing. Re-hire as soon as no charges are made because the woman fled the country? Point is he still he was on drugs and committed aggravated assault. Preposterous. Fire. Hire. Fire.

In the UFC defense, atleast they didn't receive the footage months ago and 'forget about it'
