Get into therapy.

One doesn't have to be "crazy" or "psycho" to see a therapist. Some people see a therapist regularly just for an unbiased point of view on things. If you have shit you want to get sorted and you recognize it, now's the best time to do it.

I have conversations with myself but I knowingly put these thoughts and conversations in play. What you're experiencing is a little bit more radical. I would recommend you try to control these thoughts/conversations. If you're not able to control them to a certain degree, then you may want to tell someone close to you about it and go from there.

Update:

Voices have been around on and off, eventually chickened out of telling my family/friends about the voices and just tolerated it.

However recently due to a weekend of getting completely smashed out of my face I messaged a few people I probably shouldn't have and crossed the line.

Throughout the week the voices have gotten worse to the point I've been struggling to fall asleep and woken up during the night because of the voices. Promising myself to go to the doctors first thing on Monday to hopefully deal with the issue.


Think I left it a bit late to deal with it...

^ what do the voices say ? What did you message to some people ? It sounds like you know that they are just voices so that's good. Would definitely go see a psychologist, hypnotherapist etc. may even need medication, sounds like an annoying problem

I agree with Aussie. If the problem is getting worse to a point where you're losing sleep over it, then it's time to check out the doctors. It's always best to be on the safe side.

Update:

Willing to admit the voice is ahd has been my ex, her sister and her best friend.

I'll call them B ex, I Sister, and J ex's best friend.

They've been all that I've got and trusted the last 9 months.

I love you all but these 3 people I can't shake off or let go of. There always there. B daily. J very very rarely but I have only ever had success following J'a advice. It's usually been positive but whils in NY she told me to steal, it broke me but I did. I stole a pack of crayons from a restaurant. The voice that is J has yet to be bad. Telling me to apply for promotions I've got. Told me to slow down on trips that later ended in traffic/car accidents 5/10 minutes away from me. Unexplained stuff.

Izzi is a voice of reason telling me to cheer up or small things lik that. Not that often but there when I need her to be

I worry that something may happen, and nobody will ever know what's going on in my head hence why IM posting it here because I'm too scared to op n up or talk about it incase someone thinks I'm craxu or anything

Only voice i hear these days tells me not to steal at work or take a swing at a co worker since my work has been stealing money from me for the past year.
Taking too much out to fees. Not paying me over 2 grand in vacations back in oct. Last week made me take 3 days ofd work with getting paid for the holiday which i found out didnt happen

Jay, ever wonder its not so much voices, but severe anxiety? I go through phases where my mind wonders pretty bad, having a hard time calming down, not feeling right, always feel out of sorts, can't sleep, wake up from sleep jolting out of bed because I don't feel right. I too feel embarrassed to talk bout it with people, but have opened up to a few people about it. In my experience I found out taking long walks helps clear the ol' brain out.

Hate to say it but

After i put birds to sleep. Hopefully girlfriend isnt over
I enjoy a glass of wine or bottle of cider and ill zone out for a hour playing video games mostly ufc game. Man it really calms my nerves down alot. I feel at ease
