There exists a small glimmer of hope for "The American Gangster."

How is he doing the right thing? He got caught with banned substances and Dana thinks that's the proper procedure?

As long as u can bring in money for the UFC then u will always have a place with them..money over everything..so keep on cheating guys, as long as u can finish fights and bring in PPV buys all will be forgiven..even thou White says he's all bout the sport but we all really know what he's really bout..TMT

This is why Dana is garbage. He makes decent to borderline good moves from time to time but the rest of the time he makes BS moves like these.

The way things are going now the only thing to look forward to is Dana being dead wrong about everything, embarrassing the UFC, and getting his golden parachute. IMO things are getting so bad the Fertitta's are starting to look stupid themselves for letting Dana have so much autonomy. I think the sooner that better business men buy Zuffa the better the sport will be, and a long stretch of bad sales can sure make for a more attractive price, but as long as Dana has so much confidence that he's right there is no price high enough. Unfortunately I think we are in for a couple years of this before their plans for instant world domination are abandoned. I'm getting the feeling that Dana is getting sick of getting criticized by hardcore fans and wants to just drive them away and replace us with new more gullible fans. This job needs a business man, not a brash reality TV personality. At least restrict Dana to being a promoter and the face of the UFC and TUF, just please put someone else in the big office making the big decisions.

Ask Barry Bonds, Mark McGuire, A-Rod, Lance Armstrong how forgiving America is to people who use PED'S to cheat in sports.

If he wasn't a convicted felon with a prior history of PED usage, I'd be more forgiving.

Read the article. Dana doesn't say Chael did the right thing, he's saying that how Chael handles the situation now will determine his future with the UFC.

Chael and Dana are good friends and Chael has always stepped up when called on and drew a lot of attention to the product. I'm not justifying any decisions the UFC makes here but I think people here tend to lose perspective quickly when any opportunity to bash Dana presents itself.

I for one do appreciate honesty and owning up to your mistakes, but this country doesn't allow for honesty or going in hiding to dodge the subject...so you lose either way.

Honesty? Chael and Dana are far from honest. They both act as though they are but history shows that's far from true.

Its not hate to say that a three time PED user shouldn't be fighting any more.

Its integrity.
