Sources close to the UFC are teasing that Dan Henderson, not Rafael Cavalcante is next for Daniel Cormier.

I'm excited to see Hendo again but I haven't been able to get behind Cormier yet.

Cormier would bully him up close easily, Shields had the clinch advantage on Hendo. Though I guess Dan has never needed to win rounds to win.

Cornier will put that jab to good use and tie him up early and often . But it would be great for Henri to play spoiler.

Ill always be a Hendo fan, but damn this might be the fight to send him off to the retirement home. If this fight happens, it will prove once again, whether smart or not, that Hendo is afraid of no man.

Freakin' weak!

I'm expecting a boring clinch fest win for Cormier. Hope Dan lands an HBomb though.

Well, this match-up is approximately 8.3 times better than the prospective one against Cavalcante.

I do expect Hendo to get pretty well dominated, but Dan is a guy whom it would be foolish to underestimate with his one-shot kill potential. However, Cormier's boxing is scary-good for a wrestler. He should land with much greater frequency than Hendo. With all the talented strikers Cormier's faced I think he's STILL never really taken a shot that really hurt him which is amazing. Also, for all his credentials, Henderson has never had the best takedown defense. I could definitely see a lot of this fight taking place with Cormier on top. However, I don't really see Hendo getting takedowns on Cormier.

A win over Henderson that is as impressive as I am guessing it will be is just the thing Cormier needs to win over the last few doubters about his worthiness for a light heavyweight title shot.

Although Hendo is getting older, a win over him is still a big deal.
