Fitch's ground eccentric attack plays right into Rousimar's bread and butter. That being said, I think if Fitch survives the first, he should grind Palhares out.

I think Fitch can grind him out without much trouble. The big mistake most of Palhares' opponents made was panicking once he had their leg. Instead of keeping calm and concentrating on what they needed to do to escape they panic and just roll around hoping the leg comes free. Belcher is the perfect example of what should be done. He panicked at first but once he settled down he was able to apply the proper escape and ended up in the dominant grappling position. If Fitch can keep his cool about him he should be able to avoid Palhares' locks.

Fitch doesnt have the strikiing that Palhares has..i favor Palhares stand up more then Fitch..and if FItch wants to wrestle with Palhares, thats right into his game..after a poor showing in FItch last match..and being choked the f out by Josh, and FItch has already stated he didnt want to face Palhares ever, even for a title shot..i dont think he wont be so fast to TD Palhares..i think Palhares can find the finish..

You are nuts to think Fitch will not have much trouble. To top it off you think people were making mistakes in panicking? Do you see the difference between Palhares and other sub specialists? He tries to break bones and hurt you when gets the chance, he does what majority of sub guys dont do, and that is pull and try to break or dislocat.

I expect Palhares to win this fight with Fitch!

Lmao. It's like the complete opposite dude.

Fitch took it to both Alves and Erik on the feet. What'd palhares do?

Dropped Dan Miller with strikes who is tough as nails. Should have tko'd him but the one time he let's up it bites him in the ass.

I got Palhares he's a big guy with sick ground game, fitch can win it if Palhares doesn't have the gas to go all rounds hard. 65/35 sort of deal.

Miller isnt a striker, Silva and Alves is. Miller and Maia had the worst kickboxing MMA fight ever.

He didnt outstrike them he fought an excellent MMA fight against them. Im just saying he held hos own against them on the feet, go watch the fights again.

Fitch when he's on is one of the best all around fighters in the sport. He will wreck Palhares in the last two rounds. Palhares has one round to catch him and Fitch has rolled and fought with some of the best grapplers. Palhares could rock him to the point where he could catch him like Burkman did but thats the only way. Fitch is top 10 one of the smartest fighters in the sport.

Fitch deserves props as a fighter, but he hasn't t/ko'd anyone anytime recently and I don't think Palhares' gas tank is as weak as some would like to think.

The problem for Fitch is that in order to fight his own fight with Palhares, he's gotta get in close and wrestlef**k him. That plays right into Palhares' game plan. Fitch is not going to box his way to victory.
