The Association for Ringside Physicians (ARP) has taken a stance on the appropriateness of therapeutic use exemptions for testosterone replacement therapy (TUE for TRT) in combat sports, and it’s not favorable.

"Now it is up to the state athletic regulatory bodies to aggressively uphold their mission, primary responsibility and obligation to protect and enhance the safety of all athletes under their jurisdiction; delaying or failing to do so would be egregious and a dereliction of their duty."

Thank god, I hope these words have some effect. Lets see how impotent the commisions are now. My guess is Vitor and Chael are going to have to jurisdiction shop now if they want to fight. If this works its a great day for the future of the sport, and a disaster for a few cheats.

Nooooo!!!!!!Hypogonadism (sp?) is one of the major side effects of long term athleticism these guys need it to train like they are 20 years younger this put's them at a clear disadvantage against younger fighters.

I agree.

Also, fighters who suffer from the condition of "weak muscles" should be allowed to take steroids to put themselves on a level playing field with those who are naturally stronger.
