It took a while for Dana White and the always capable Sergio Non to really get down to business during the UFC boss’ Wednesday interview with USA Today. Both guys spent a lot of time making the obligatory small talk about UFC 129, Silva vs. Okami and which weight class Frankie Edgar should be fighting in before the actual questions came out of the quiver. Once they began in earnest, White characteristically did not shy away from giving us The Full Dana on any number of topics.

Personally I find this article in very poor taste. People complain so much about dana that they forget the number 1 rule in Journalism, Be neutral and tell the story. These guys all want to bad mouth Dana and Zuffa but their just commenting on how they feel and not giving the readers the story so we can make our own opinions.

Very good read. I don't know if he can compete with any of the major sports. Not on pay per view anyway. Maybe a big free MMA match on a major network. Why has he not done that yet? Or is he trying. Smooth Business man Dana is. What happen to making up to the fans on that Spectacle of a fight that Anderson Silva had.

As a fan I was disappointed when Strickeforce was sold to the UFC. Competition is healthy and even if Dana believes SF was not their competition at a PPV level they definitively were at a fighter level when it comes to negotiating contracts fighters need a viable alternative to use as leverage. They no longer have that and that kinda sux...

I don't know why people watch MLB anyway it's so freaking boring and NFL guys wear padding that's dumb plus the amount of stoppages inbetween every play is super annoying with Australian football the players don't wear any protective gear and run hard out at eachother with no breaks until the half ends. UFC is way better then both these sports but just isn't as popular due to people not realising what they are missing out on.
