He says it's because of his extended break between fights...a little too extended for his tastes. "A good break now and then is great for your body, but it was too long. This is the most ring rust I've ever had. I'm not excited about it... Being off for the year, that's huge. It's a weird feeling. I'm a little more nervous than usual."

This might be really good for forrest or really bad. If he makes himself believe he's too stressed out and cant pull it off then he's done. Either way though ive had Ace picked since the fight was announced, pretty confident about it

I thought Forrest said he was taking a "sobatical", he and I dont think he can blaim ring rust on anyone else but himself.

he said he would never give up and could take more punshment and come back than anyone, but Silva took his heart and will in less than 1 rd.

I like Rich's attitude, he is humble but confident

i have a bad feeling for forrest in this fight. franklin has been looking good. i think he looks real good at LHW. with ring rust and fighting franklin, i think forrest is in for a beating.

he's still sort of young, returning 2 fightin will b like ridin a bike 1nce again after not ridin 4 a year, but "bikes don't hit back" plus i can juz speculate, bc i juz started training bjj & don't even have an amateur/pro record. honestly i'm rooting 4 forrest bc i bet 4 him (the odds r only -110 4 rich) & i attend uga & he's uga alumni

If that's how he really feels then I think he's getting knocked out.

This is going to be a tough fight for Forrest. Since he lost to Rashad he hasn't really faced the same level of competition except for Anderson Silva and that was a beating. Franklin is good and I think he'll probably win this fight. Griffin's got the reach but I don't think it will be enough against someone like ace.
