FIGHT CARD #2

LHW one night tournament: Shogun, Rampage, Rashad, and Machida all get first round byes as the top 4 seeds. The rest of the field however, are unseeded and matched up upon my own preference. The way I have the tournament play out is not necessarily the way I think it would play out in real life, but rather on how I would prefer the match ups to be. So I do move some underdogs up along the way.

LHW Tournament RD 1:
Ryan Bader vs Rafael Cavalcante
Roger Gracie vs Ricardo Arona
Muhammed Lawal vs Phil Davis
Forrest Griffin vs Gegard Mousasi

Alan Belcher vs Melvin Manhoef
Dong Hyun Kim vs Paulo Thiago

LHW Tournament RD 2:
Mauricio Rua vs Rafael Cavalcante
Ricardo Arona vs Lyoto Machida
Muhammed Lawal vs Rashad Evans
Gegard Mousasi vs Quinton Jackson

Jason Miller vs Yushin Okami

LHW Tournament RD 3:
Mauricio Rua vs Gegard Mousasi
Rashad Evans vs Ricardo Arona

Co Main Event:
Junior Dos Santos vs Aleksander Emelianenko

Main Event/LHW Tournament Final:
Mauricio Rua vs Rashad Evans

My vote goes to #6, I think the quality is spread out throughout the card and i think the LW tournament is full of compelling match-ups.

Second place goes to #2.

#5 gets my vote. Quite a few wicked matchups I'd like to see.

Lytle/Zaromskis
Santiago/Babalu
Little Nog/Silva
Diaz/Hardy
Fedor/Jones

Sick.

I'm not big fan of seeing guys fight more than once in a night, so card #5 gets my vote. The highlights for me would be Diaz-Hardy and Alvarez-Gomi.

My favorite matchups from the other cards:
- Christiane Santos vs. Erin Toughill
- Carlos Condit vs. Ben Askren
- Forrest Griffin vs. Gegard Mousasi
- Junior Dos Santos vs. Aleksander Emelianenko
- Roy Nelson vs. Ben Rothwell II
- Randy Couture vs. Dan Henderson
- Gilbert Melendez vs. George Sotiropolous
- Chris Leben vs. Cung Le

Good jobs, all!

I guess I'll go #5. Fedor/Jones & Overeem/Carwin pretty much sold it. There were interesting pairings in pretty much every one, but I'm gonna go #5.

I like card #5 the most.....what bothered me most about the first couple of cards was the winners being predestined. Plus I like to see a mix of weight classes during the course of an evening.
