Lame. Get this guy to the UFC and have him doing MMA fights. I, for one, don't care for K-1.

So if Alistair beats Remy, does he stay in K-1? Anyone who beats Hari and Remy obviously would be among the elite in K-1.

If the price is right he likely will. I have a feeling money plays a factor in this move. Said article also noted that Manhoef is headed back there as well.

Wouldn't be a bad idea, if he beats Remy, they would need to pay him almost whatever he wants... I doubt the UFC would drop the same amount of money to acquire him. You never know though, Overeem could want new challenges and decide to come to the UFC anyway, all this assuming he beats Remy.

the problem is the fact he is worth more in K-1 n dream cause his name is bigger draw over seas. & since he an established name he wants $$$$$$$ but he's not that known in the USA. but if he does beat remy than UFC really needs to try & get him

waste????

he's fighting possibly the two best stand up fighters in the world back to back and i'm sure he's getting paid quite a bit of money to do it. i'd hardly call that a waste

Awsome news. Why woulden't he stay where he can fight in both K-1 and Dream? Also if he wins this fight I garentee he will take part in the WGP, that is a huge pay day.

the only way i see overeem winning is just by mauling remy.. similar to what sapp did to hoost.

but other than that, and of course a punchers chance, i don't see him lasting too long.

I bet Overeem is gonna fight Remy for some experiance and then Go Fight for Dream and Affliction and try to track the elusive Fedor.

And thats the worst avatar I have ever seen. Brutal ! HAHAHAHA
