wow, i hope they can get gomi and mach, they would be a great addition to the UFC, but i wonder if they want kid for the WEC featherweight division, or the UFC lightweight, either way i would love to see him, and a fight against faber would be amazing

I think the UFC is hesitant to launch a featherweight division so i would asssume that they want Yamamoto at lightweight. I think any one of these guys could beat BJ Penn and Joe Stevenson, so i think this interim title isnt going to mean much.

This would be sweet to get all three.
Sakurai vs Gomi right away!!!
Ya right.
This is my guess on fights:
Sakurai vs first time UFCer
Gomi vs Paul Tayler.
LOL. Gosh I hope not...

I don't see any of these guys signing here. Gomi would fight at 155, and would gas alot more then he did at 161, Mach is a maybe, he could fight at 170 and IMO do very well. Kid would get laid on by sherk , and be to small in the LW div. Sure he could go fight in the WEC but he'll make a lot less money in the WEC then K-1.

I don't think Gomi will be as good. He has a low gas tank and heavy hands. I think the UFC LW's are too in shape and all around monsters for him. He'd have a decent run but I don't think he could hang with Griffin, Edgar, Joe daddy, and BJ who already beat him. Sherk would beat him too.
Mach Sakarai could be a good addition and so could kid. But I doubt those two sign, not sure about Mach, but I think Kid wants to wrestle in the 08 Olympics I think I heard. Plus he'll have no freedom

1. BJ already beat Gomi
2. BJ/Joe is for the title, not the interim

It would be dumb to sign Kid at 155, he's much more at home at 145. Kid vs Faber would be an awesome fight.
BJ not only beat Gomi, but completely destroyed him.

Ya, ya, ya, you can say what you want about that title but regarless of all that has happend I think people will see BJ as the true champ once/if he beats Sherk.
Which is going to be a sick fight and if it wasn't for Silva/Henderson it would be the most exciting fight of the year.....
