You know what to do, list your top 5 slugfests of all time!

1) Don Frye vs Takayama - Classic, from early Pride. Both fighters litterally hold the others heads with one hand while punching the face with the other!

2) Takanori Gomi vs Nick Diaz - Pride 33, amazing fight! Shows how good Nick Diaz is, but also shows what a chin gomi has!

3) Forrest Griffin vs Stephan Bonnar 1 - Ultimate Fighter Finale, both fighters were going for the big time contract and put it all on the line... a must see for anyone who missed it!!

4) Kenji Ari v Jens Pulver - Bushido 10 or 11 im not sure, anyways this fight was amazing... a total slugfest with a very brutal and sudden ending!

5) Phil Baroni vs Ikuhisa Minowa 1 - Bushido 7, one of my favorite fights! Baroni's debut in Pride, he stands toe to toe with Minowa eventually knocking him down in the 2nd round and taking full advantage of the Pride rules (stomping Minowa's head into the canvas at least 4 times and then a kick to the face to seal the deal)!

1) Griffin vs Bonnar I (Self explanatory; blood, back and forth war, the fight that put the UFC into the mainstream, the brutality of bonnar and griffin squaring off just unloading on each other for three straight rounds)

2) Don Frye vs Takayama (Frye and Takayam just sat their punching eachother in the face, it looked like a hockey fight and is the true definition of a slugfest)

3) James Thompson vs Don Frye (JT is just a beast and he puts it all out there every time he steps in the ring, but him and don frye just stood there like rock 'em sock 'em robots and just unloaded)

4) Pedro Rizzo vs Couture I (A 5 round war that saw both fighters battling it out until they were both unable to fight. In this fight both fighters were close to KOing the other and it was just a classic between to great fighters)

5) Pete Sell vs Scott Smith (The KO at the ned is mostly the reason it is so high on my list, but the whole fight leading up to it was just amazing as both fighters just unloaded everything they had with pete sell breaking smith's rib and smith coming out of nowhere with one of the most unexpected KOs in mma history. Pete Sell is just so unlucky, just ask scott smith and nate quarry...)

5) Fry / Takayama... Classic slugfest, more of a extended hockey fight really

4) Wandy / Metzger... Classic back and forth with a great KO by Wand... Was torn between this or Metzger / Liddell

3) Pedro Rizzo / Tre Tellingman... A lot of back and forth, and a classic Rizzo KO... What else can you ask for?

2) Griffin / Bonnar... Some could say was single handedly responsible for the MMA boom... Started the ball rolling for legitimate MMA

1) Melvin Meinhoff / Cyborg... This fight is just plain REDICULOUS

franklin vs the crow was pretty fun, so was manhoef vs cyborg. Frye vs Takayama has to be the best though!

I've never seen this fight so I googled it..... you are 100% right. That fight was an awesome slugfest. The ending was crazy!!

If you haven't seen this fight you need to look it up. It's worth it.
