HDNet, a Mark Cuban-owned channel geared toward MMA coverage, will broadcast this weekend's Xtreme Fighting League event, but DREAM's inaugural show will not be carried by the all-high-definition cable station.

HDNet officials today told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) that Saturday's "DREAM 1" event, which features the opening round of a lightweight grand prix and the DREAM debut of former UFC fighter Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic, has not been picked up for broadcast by the station.

Fans were hopeful that HDNet -- which has signed deals to broadcast events for Strikeforce, the International Fight League, Ring of Fire and other top organizations -- would also pick up DREAM's debut show. Instead, "Team Takedown" fighters will be featured as part of Saturday's XFL broadcast, which begins at 10:30 p.m. ET.

Sherdog front page, Saturday morning when I wake up for results.

And then a waiting game for the fights to get uploaded.

Unfortunately.

Sopcast or TVU will probably have someone streaming it, sucks its the only way anyone in North America can see it live.

FYI, for those wanting to watch it live in North America via a stream.

It appears it will start at 3pm in Japan on Saturday, March 15th which will be:
11pm Friday Night for Pacific Time
2am Saturday morning for Eastern Time.

If anyone finds any updated reports confirming a different start time than 3PM, let me know.

That works out well for me, I'll prob'ly be just getting home when it starts. Nigt events in Japan make it too hard for me (east coast US) but this 3pm there 2am here sounds good.
