i think this fight will draw alot of attention, but i dont see pulver coming even close to winning this fight

I completely, 100% agree.

Pulver, however, has that always present puncher's chance though. Don't forget that. He can put any FW on their back with one left hand.

yea without the possiblity of one hit knockouts, i think faber will win. but it can go either way.

I disagree, i think your underestimating pulver at 145. remember he is 8-0 at 145. hes a dangerous fighter.

Pulver is a very dangerous fighter at 145! Especially after that loss to BJ. That woke him up I think and he can be a force if he were to work on his subs and he seemed to have done that. He said himself, "enough of the left hand". If he fights with this attitude I think he can cause trouble for anyone. Especially at 145 where he isn't giving his opponent the size advantage every time. It's not like he's going to lose the left hand but if he works on improving his subs he will cause fits for Faber with his solid wrestling base.

Pulver may have been working on subs and his ground game, but it may be too little too late. Faber is a younger, faster, stronger, better fighter than him. While I think that Pulver is top 5 at 145, Faber is top 2 (Yamamoto is number one); Faber will win this fight.

I think Pulver is stronger, hes going to knock the california kid into the next century! Will be a great fight, i can't wait to watch Pulver steal the crown... Its great to have him back in his own weight class after so long! Anyone know when this fight might take place?

I think Pulver wins this fight by KO. Apparently Pulver has a good sprawl, he stopped and even subbed Cub Swanson while sprawling. He's apparently been working on grappling, which is good, because the ko power is always going to be there. As strong as Faber is I think that Jens can keep it on the feet, and eventually knock Faber out.

Since the next WEC card is in February, I'm guessing this one will be in late April early May. It'll probably have another Paulo Filho fight on it, and maybe Chase Beebee if he's not on the card in February.

Pulver wins in dominating fashion ; faber will never see him coming because of post like " Pulver has no chance of winning" its obvious that hes going to underestimate him

Huge build up will end up leaving Jens face down on the canvas after getting rear-naked choked......but it will bring alot of attention to the WEC which is a good thing

Pulver is finally fighting in the right weight division and he looked great against Cub. The dude submitted him in under a min! I think people are crazy to count out Jens, but I agree that Faber is the favorite.

I was quite impressed with how Faber was able to weather the storm in the 1st round against Curran and get the submission victory. Curran's a tough dude to finish. Imagine Kid vs. Faber, that would be a sick fight (although I think Kid would win decisively).

I couldn't believe my eyes! I jumped on the Cub bandwagon after that sick fight with Micah Miller and I thought he was going to kill Pulver. But Pulver showed he got game! I still think his ground game is limited. I think that was more on Swanson underestimating Pulvers ground game and making it suspect like everyone here was and the rest of the fans were too. I don't think that would happen if Swanson would have expected a decent ground game from Pulver.

I just can't see Pulver as champion I'm sorry. He always carries that huge right hand and IMO his ground game is still suspect. If I'm Faber. Still take it to the ground. Just don't underestimate it and not give it enough credit.

This should be a crazy fight. It could be a fast paced war the way Faber likes to go. I still see him subbing Pulver in the 1st!!! Should be a good fight though!!! Seeing how Pulver is actually finally started evolving with the sport...

I could be mistaken w/o lookin up records, but I don't think anyone has ever subbed Jens in the first. BJ couldn't do it. Course BJ never really tried to pull it to the ground the way Faber might, so i guess we'll see.

I really am not that excited about this fight because I think Jens Pulver will get dominated. Look at how well Urijah Faber is at neutralizing the other fighter's power. The only way jens could win would be by catching urijah in a quick mistake submission or to catch faber with a hard shot. I really am rooting for Pulver though because I cannot stand faber after his victory interviews. Plus I have heard Franl Mir have too many orgasms talking about faber.

I have this bad feeling that Faber is over-rated. He hasnt fought top lvl fighters like pulver. the only legit fighter he has faced is tyson griffin and he lost badly. sure griffin is a 155 fighter but i mean pulver has fought some of the top guys at 155 and held his own. If he comes out like he did against curran in rd1, pulver is gonna put him to sleep wth that left hand. I wouldnt be surprised to see him get dominated just like i wasnt surprised when it happened to Filho for the first round.

I'd like to see Faber neutralize a Pulver left to the face! i can't wait to see this fight happen!
