I hope he has gotten better at using that dominating reach.

Yeah Corey has real potential with proper training he sould be able to learn how to use his reach and wrestling/takedown defense to his advantage and become some what of a force at 155.

Unless they match him up with Andy Wang, Buddy Rowe is gonna get KO'd. Corey Hill is great at talking and barking like a dog, but if they match him up with even a second-tier UFN type fighter, Hill will get destroyed.

lol what the hell are you talking about?? did you not see him manhandle diaz the entire fight before being caught in a sub?? i'm sure training with horn and militech full time will improve him, but according to you, the fact he's black and has an outgoing personality are the only things he has going for him because a "second-tier ultimate fighter" would "destroy" him.

lol @ another post "i think bj penn would beat him"

hmmm, well i think fedor would destroy brandon vera, so we might as well write him off as a fighter. lol. talk about stating the obvious. corey hill will be a dominant fighter for years to come, he may still be green, but wait two years, and he will run the 155 division and be an elite contender. anybody who thinks otherwise doesn't know fighting and should consider tennis.

I dont think its to promote the show, since its only the final remaining. Also i dont understand the concept, are they gonna have 2 events right after each other, and isnt Matt Vs Matt gonna happen October 12?

did you not see corey hill vs nate diaz? or just when he fought rob emerson? he improved a lot from the fight from a sub-par emerson to a young and talented nate diaz. i remember seeing nate diaz practically tear apart hermes franca on his feet a year before he was even on tuf and corey hill came along during his 2nd fight and manhandled nate diaz on stand upbefore getting getting hyped and going for a take down and eventually getting submitted.

plus since he left tuf hes been training with miletech fighting systems, so who knows how much this guy has progressed since leaving the show.
